Our boat was safely in the slip and Lisa and I settled in for the night with our menagerie of animals. Lisa prepared a delicious and nutritious dinner and we enjoyed the beautiful view off the back deck of the boat. It was warm with a nice breeze, so it was a perfect night.
We went over our plans for the show. We had never done this before, so it was scary trying to ensure nothing was missed. We thought we had everything figured out.
I took the dogs for a walk and then made a cold drink. After a little TV, I settled in for what was sure to be a sleepless night.
