Since we all have jobs, we had to leave after work on Friday! We finally arrived at the marina around 6:30 and called the Dock Master for our slip assignment. They were kind enough to provide us with slips that were near each other and very conveniently located near the pool and restaurant.
We got our boats secured and we checked in. Lisa had been cooking a pork shoulder all afternoon and used that to make some awesome Cuban Sandwiches. The kids explored the marina and the adults rested up from a long workweek!
We were located in slips closest to the Marina, so everyone docked farther out walked past our boat providing a great opportunity to make friends, and we did!
