If you want to sell at the boat show, you need to be able to take mobile payments!
We did a lot or research on different options, and settled on "square". You can download an app and sign up with them, then they send you a credit card scanner. You then set up your bank account, type of receipt and inventory.
The first time we tried it was amazing! We had a friend purchase a SeaClutch and he wanted to pay with credit card. We inserted selected the SeaClutch, plugged in the scanner and rang up the sale! After the card processed, my friend signed on my phone screen with his finger. Seconds later the money was in our account and my friend had his receipt. Amazing and very cool!
Now we have the infrastructure in place for the boat show season.
